  • Notes
    • Policeman in London, discharged in 1853 "being worn out and unfit for further service". Intended to draw his pension in Roehampton, near Putney.

With Mary Anne Dawson had Robert and Mary Ann, and possibly also John (born 1833, died 1898) or Hannah (born 1830, died 1893)

A William Burtsal died in West Ham in October 1868 which dates match the range when William would have died (he was alive in 1861 census, but not listed in 1871 census).
