  Early Life Helen Povey was born aroung 16251, the daughter of John Povey and an unknown mother. Family Life Helen married Henry Fleming of Westhope Manor in Shropshire, probably around 1651. See his entry for more details on the children. Death Helen died on the 22nd of November 1662. Footnote [1] According to Janet Verasanso in Shropshire Transactions (Vol 79 (2004), pages 128-133), Helen was the sister of John Povey, a future Lord Chief Justice of Ireland, who was born in 1625. Helen's eldest child was born in 1652 so her own birth year of around 1625 seems reasonable.
