  Early Life Presumably born around 1645, given that he married in 1668. The only people of that name that I can find were born in Staindrop near Durham, so I don't think they are correct. Family Life 'of Lower Headrow' (in his son Christopher's baptism and also in his marriage to Mary Smith). George married Mary Smith on the 26th of July 1668 in Leeds. They had: Elizabeth, b. 1669; but died in 1670 Ann, b. 1670 but died in 1671 George, b 1672 Christopher, b 1674 who married Susannah Flather in 1703 and died 1738 Joseph, b. ? but died in 1685 ___, an un-named infant born and died in 1698
