Early Life
would have been born in the 1440s by extrapolation from her descendents; her father was Sir John Tyrwhit of Harpswell.
Family Life
Lincolnshire Pedigrees1 suggests that it wasn't Elizabeth, but her sister Margaret who married John Whichcote. Burke's2 instead says it was Elizabeth. We note that there is a 15th Century brass in the north wall of the chancel of St Chad's in Harpswell which shows John and his wife.
Death
In Lincolnshire Pedigrees1, Margaret is said to have died 1 March 1505/6.
FaG3 has a burial record for Elizabeth at St Chad's in Harpswell, but there are no photos or any trace of a record to confirm this.
