    • Family Life
Lorna married Kenneth Hope Bruce on the 10th of November 1910. Their engagement was announced in The Times on the 28th of June that year:
Captain KH Bruce and Miss Burn-Murdoch
The announcement was made yesterday that Miss Lorna Burn-Murdoch, Mistress of the Robes of the Army Pageant, has become engaged to Captain KH Bruce of the Gordon Highlanders, Adjutant of the London Scottish.

Their marriage was announced in The Times (5th November 1910):
Captain KH Bruce and Miss Burn-Murdoch
The marriage of Captain Kenneth Hope Bruce, the Gordon Highlanders, son of Sir Alexander and Lady Bruce, and Miss Lorna Burn-Murdoch, daughter of Mr and Mrs T Burn-Murdoch, will take place in St Giles's Church, Edinburgh, on November 10.
The bridge groom and his best man, Captain GJ Cumine, are to wear uniform, and the bridesmaids, Miss Marion Burn-Murdoch (the bride's sister), Miss Phyllis Bruce (sister of the bridegroom), Miss Edith Macdougall, and Miss Molly Conran, are to wear picture frocks of shot peacock blue and mauve ninon. The bride's wedding dress is made in the 14th century style, and will have a long train of Renaissance brocade. The veil will be one which has been worn on nine other occasions by members of the bride's family. The Right Rev. Dr M Adam Muir, Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, is to officiate.

A follow-up article on the 21st of November notes that "the bride and bridegroom left afterwards for Italy".
