  • Notes
    • From her memorial inscription at Quedgeley1
'Tis o'er! The last sad obsequies are paid.
With kindred dust the hallow'd dust is laid.
Clos'd is the scene that agonized my heart,
But time's soft balm alone can heal its smart.
Lov'd in thy life, lamented in they end,
The kind relation and the faithful friend.
Of such endearment let a brother tell
To sooth his sorrow in a long farewell.

It sounds like this was written and commissioned by Charles, her brother.
