    • Early Life
      George Gylby was born most likely in the 1530s, based on extrapolation from his descendents. His parents were John Gylby of West Ravendale1 and Agnes Brough.

      George was served heir to his father in 15622.

      Family Life
      George married Elisabeth Hansard, daughter of Henry Hansard of Cuxwold.

      Death
      George died some time in April 1583 (his will was written on the 3rd and proved on the 23rd). In that will, he mentions:
