Footnotes
[1] The
Visitation of London (1633-1635) p301 notes a Turner family of
Bread Street Ward which included a number of drapers but no obvious connection. Ancestry trees pick his parents as Francis Turner of Bedford and his wife Jane Timbs, though I'm not sure on what basis. There is also a baptismal record for Nathaniel Turner, son of Gregory Turner and Ann at
St Bride's in Fleet Street in Nov 1662.
