  Early Life Probably1 son of Thomas Beckwith of Aldborough and Sutton Grange, and Sarah Beckwith, born c. 1640. Career and Family Life Purchased the Lamb Hill estate with his father on the 7th of May 1656. The name of his wife is not recorded. Death Thomas allegedly died in 1672, when he would have been just in his 30s. However, I have some suspicions that this date (which appears in Masham1) is actually for Thomas' father, because a Thomas Beckwith of Lamb Hill appears as a witness to the birth of Thomas Beckwith in 1685. Any child of Thomas of this page would still have been a child in 1685, so wouldn't have been old enough to witness the birth of a cousin.
