    • Edward went out to work with his uncle Edward Mayne in Lisbon where his father James also had business. Edward had 3 sons & 2 daughters who survived to adulthood but none had children. His daughter Martha married Sir John Skinner, Chief Baron of the Exchequer, in 1777.
