    • Early Life
      Randall Brice was born c. 1646, the eldest son of Robert Brice of Castle Chichester and his wife Elizabeth Stewart.

      Career
      Signed an address of the Gentry of the County Down to King Charles II 1682/3.

      Family Life
      Randall married Penelope Beaghan, daughter and coheir of Peter Beaghan of Dublin, and had five children:

      1. Edmond, died abroad intestate without issue
      2. Randall, b. about 1691
      3. Elizabeth, who maried Joshua Wilkins
      4. Penelope, who married Charles Ryves

      May possibly have had an eldest son Robert2 who died sin prole.

      Death
      Randall died in September 1697. An extract of his will1 reads as follows:
      Randle Brice of Lisburne Co. Antrim Esq - Leaves all his estate real & personal of what nature or kindsoever in Ireland or elswhere (except his lease of Mathremorne) to his eldest son (with power to settle a third part for jointure on any wife & power to make leases for 21 years) for life, remainder to his eldest son lawfully to be begotten & his heirs male, remainder to Edmond's 2nd and other sons in succession, remainder to Testators 2nd son Randle & his heirs male of his body, remainder to Testator's right heirs for ever. £1000 portion to daughter Penelope. £600 portion to daughter Elizabeth. 440 guineas to servant Edward Peers requesting he wiould assist Testator's widow to settle his accounts with the Marquess of Normanby. Wife Penelope sole executrix.
      Overseers Testator's brother Lesly, his brother Knox, & friend Charles Campbell togeher with brother Edward Brice.

      Will dated 7 Sept 1697, proved by widow Penelope 12 Oct 1697. Testator died in Dublin.

      Appoints widow guardian to his several children unless she marries, Guardianship then transferred to brother Edward.

      Lease of Mathremorne left to son Randle.
