  Early Life Mary Haultain was born in c. Dec 1742 and baptised on the 28th of the month at Sutton in Surrey, the third child and first daughter of James Haultain, a calico printer from Mitcham in Surrey, and Martha Wells. Family Life Mary married William Porter of Shepperton in 1767, at St Peter & St Paul church. Death Mary died on the 17th of April 1785, aged just 42. She was buried at the family vault in Banstead3. Her husband William outlived her for another 12 years.
